Barron K. Henley appointed to Commission on Technology and the Courts

Affinity Consulting is proud to announce the selection of Affinity Partner Barron K. Henley as a member of the Commission on Technology and the Courts. 

The Supreme Court of Ohio appointed Henley to a three-year term, ending in 2022. The Supreme Court of Ohio established the Commission on Technology and the Courts effective in 2007. The Commission is charged with several critical duties:  

  • to promulgate statewide rules, policies and uniform standards for the development and use of information technology systems in Ohio courts;
  • to deliver technology services to courts throughout the state including the development and implementation of educational and training programs for judges and court personnel;
  • to exchange data and information with Ohio courts and other justice system partners for greater efficiency of judicial administration including the development and operation of the Ohio Courts Network;
  • and to impact any other issues necessary to aid and promote the orderly adoption and
    comprehensive use of technology in Ohio courts.
