While NetDocuments is a true cloud-based system, there are a few locally installed applications that improve the user experience. These desktop applications are updated on a regular basis by NetDocuments and it is important to stay up to date with new releases. In addition to gaining new functionality and bug fixes, it is also NetDocuments policy that they will not support previous versions. Below you will find the current versions of the desktop applications. To update any or all of these applications, navigate to the direct downloads page on the NetDocuments support site.
This page is consistently updated to the latest versions. Just click on the links and download the application you wish to update. Note that you can also Follow this page to receive notice when it is updated.
There is typically a .zip file which will contain both an .msi installer and a .exe. If you are updating the files yourself, the .exe is usually the best option. If your IT group is managing the updates, they may prefer to use the .msi file. You will need to have local admin rights on your machine to install programs.
