NetDocuments Tasks

For the past 20 years (ok 21 years), NetDocuments as a leading provider document management for legal, has focused on the production of work in process by managing the creation and organization of documents. In recent years, since the introduction of the ND Elevate Conference, we have seen a shift from NetDocuments, with a broadened focus on new services aimed at increasing end-user productivity.

The latest module from NetDocuments, provides users with the ability to plan tasks associated with the management of a matter, distribute work across the team, and the delivery of the final work product to clients.

Under a single pane of glass - the workspace, NetDocuments allows the users to access their documents and view their tasks associated with the workspace/matter, where an attorney can assign tasks across the team and obtain quick status information on a given task. This new feature is simply called Tasks.

A robust list view allows you to organize and sort by the columns of Tasks and add a new task.

And like their advanced search filter of profiles, you can filter down tasks by various components including Created By, Statuses and Due Dates. Note the Show archived button on the bottom of the Filter list.

Tasks offers the simplicity of being able to search, create, view and organize tasks. It allows the firm to now be more productive during this chaotic time of working from home where interaction is a lot more challenging and the need for transparency and efficiency is at its greatest. We can’t wait to see the roadmap forward with the new Tasks module!
