Newly announced at ILTACON2018 is the latest release from the makers of Worldox, World Software Corporation.

This newly programmed update has many new features built into it including the brand new Worldox WebMobile 3.0, productivity tools Task and Notify, that is poised to be a total game changer in the web mobility sphere for World Software.

With WebMobile 3.0 you will no longer need to upload or manually check in and check out your documents. Worldox Web 3.0 comes with a fully redesigned Web Server Engine and User Interface.  It now includes Soft Popup integration for Browsers.  File>Open and File>Save bring up the Worldox Web 3.0 interface.  New right-click menus have been added, as well as the ability to create and manage Projects. This means you will be able to interact with your Office applications in much the same way that you do now, with the Worldox heavy client.

In the new, more powerful email engine Microsoft® Outlook, Tasks can easily be created from Worldox documents in the files list for important deadline reminders.  Notify enables the setup of notifications based on audit trail events that can be based on any document metadata.

With the new email Exchange integration, you can create Outlook folders and link them directly to Worldox matters - both copy or move messages. Filing email messages from mobile devices and Outlook Web App is now supported, as well.   All processing occurs on the Exchange server to increase performance at the desktop and our PST File Crawler will background file large data sets into Worldox. Predictive filing client and matter recommendations will now be exposed in the Outlook message list and a Global Flag indicates when anyone has filed a message.

All of these upgrades and more are part of the newest release from Worldox WDU14. To hear all details about WDU14, just contact us at info@affinityconsulting.com.
